Mikko Lemettilä has worked in A-Clinic Foundation’s Dopinglinkki since 2018 and is the development planner of Dopinglinkki’s Clean Sports & Exercise Commitment, aimed for the fitness industry in Finland. Dopinglinkki also provides research-based information on the adverse effects of performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs) and free health counselling services for doping users.
Mikko has a background of bachelor of health care (physiotherapy) and pharmacy studies. Currently, he is completing his Master’s studies in Sports and Exercise Medicine in the University of Jyväskylä, and starting his Master’s in Doping Studies and Analysis of Anti-Doping Policies in the University of Paris Nanterre. Mikko’s first international publication discussed the anti-doping knowledge and educational needs of pharmacists, pharmacists role in doping prevention and in sports and exercise medicine. He has also coordinated and lectured in the ”Medicines and Sports” –course for pharmacists in cooperation with Finnish Center for Integrity in Sports (FINCIS) and Pharmaceutical Learning Centre.
