Free IPED infographics available for health professionals!
Three infographics have been developed in collaboration with UK health professionals and focus on image and performance enhancing drugs (IPEDs). The infographics were a result of a IPED workshop aimed to improve the knowledge of needle and syringe program staff and other health professionals located in the UK who engage with IPED-using clients. This workshop was funded by the University of New South Wales.
These infographics communicate simple, evidence-based information about IPEDs, with a specific focus on anabolic-androgenic steroids. Infographic 1 describes basic terminologies used within IPED communities; infographic 2 discusses how to improve client engagement; and infographic 3 focuses on how to best collect IPED-related data for your service.
