Public Health Institute, Liverpool John Moores University, is organizing the first Institute for Health Research IPED conference, to be held on the 13th October 2017 10:00 at the Maritime Museum, Liverpool (UK).
The conference aim is to bring together a range of stakeholders who have a keen interest in ongoing and emerging research relating to Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs.
The conference will showcase the diverse current and planned IPED research at Liverpool John Moores University. There will also be an opportunity to take part in a question and answer session with Bill Llewellyn.
Overall the conference will share research insight on:
- The changes in IPED use over the last two decades and the latest findings of the National IPEDInfo Survey 2016.
- Emerging public health risks and harms, prevention and education responses and implications for future research.
- Understanding muscle development and IPED user identity
- Doping in sport
- Emerging PhD research.
