Bertrand Fincoeur is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Sports Sciences of the University of Lausanne, and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL, Lausanne). He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology from KU Leuven. His research areas primarily cover controversial issues and integrity in sports (e.g., doping, football hooliganism, match fixing). Bertrand has also a keen interest in sports in prison, and in economic, political and social aspects of food.
