Professor Frances Quirk is a Chartered Health Psychologist, psychometrician and behavioural scientist. Currently Director of the Institute of Healthcare Research at the University of New England (UNE), NSW, Australia. Frances was an inaugural member of the Social Science Research Network on Doping in Sport and the Founding Co-Editor in Chief of the Elsevier Journal Performance Enhancement and Health. Frances has collaborated with others in the Social Science Research Network to examine Athlete and Support Personnel Attitudes to Doping (funded by the Anti-Doping Research Program) and has research interests in elite athlete mental health, doping decision making and supporting the brain health of elite athletes.
