Georgios A. Antonopoulos is a Professor of Criminology at the School of Social Sciences and Law at Teesside University. His research interests include ‘organised crime’ and illegal markets such as for medicine and anabolic steroids. He is currently involved in European Commission-funded project on the online trade in counterfeit pharmaceuticals (FAKECARE project).
