Hans C.B. Henriksen is a Ph.D-researcher at Oslo University Hospital (OUS), National Advisory Unit on Substance Use Disorder Treatment in Norway. He is working on a pilot study involving endocrine therapy of anabolic androgenic steroid (AAS) users who wish to quit use, to see whether hormonal treatment can contribute to reduce symptoms of androgen deficiency during AAS withdrawal phase, and whether it stimulates endogenous testosterone production. Hans is a medical doctor who has previously worked closely with men with hypogonadism in clinical settings, including users of AAS. He is part of The Anabolic Androgenic Steroid Research Group at Oslo University Hospital as well as the National Steroid Project in Norway.
