Lea Trier Krøll is a PhD fellow at the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research at Aarhus University, Denmark. Her PhD project ‘Everyday Life’s Medicine’ draws on sociological theories of time and examines in-depth qualitative interviews with Danish young adults, enrolled in University or College, who have used prescription drugs for purposes other than those prescribed. She is particularly interested in examining the ways in which students employ prescription medicines to handle temporal conflicts in their everyday lives.
