Dr. Rebekah Brennan is a researcher and lecturer in the areas of substance use and misuse, new drug trends and responses, vulnerable groups and social justice. She is currently based at University College Cork and at Irish Minister for Children Katherine Zappones adult learning institution, An Cosan in Dublin which provides a pathway to higher education in areas of deprivation. She continues to work with community drug projects in developing evidence based interventions to care for people who use drugs problematically and conducts independent research in this area.
